        (SOUND ENGINEERING AND MUSIC)

                     (  Law of motions )

(Motion due to the release of tensile stress)
(Shearing motion)
General Type of motion)

Osho on Christianity

The last few years of Shri VINAYAK DAMODAR SAVARKAR

An account of the day to day lifestyle of the last few years of

Shri VINAYAK DAMODAR SAVARKAR

-THE FATHER OF HINDUTVA  <3

Tatyarao ("Respected elder brother "in marathi as Vinayak damodar Savarkar was called by his family members and contemporary friends) had a fairly fixed routine in Mumbai if he was not on tour.

He would get up at 7 or 730 in the morning. After his morning chores, tea and newspaper reading (he would mark in pencil), he would have breakfast. This consisted of one egg and fresh butter.

His barber would come at the appointed time to shave him. Then he would meet people by appointment and rarely without appointment.
He would clean the toilet himself and insist on carrying out this chore himself. He would sniff snuff but kicked this habit subsequently. He would have bath at 12 noon or 12.30 pm. Thereafter his cook would serve lunch at 1 pm. It would be simple consisting of rice, vegetable, dal and chapati. The other family members would be instructed not to wait for him; he would have lunch later. He liked his food cold (probably a result of habit developed when he was imprisoned in the Andamans) and would not like to talk during mealtime.

He liked non-vegetarian food especially fish but this would not be prepared at home. Some of his admirers (including Mai Mangeshkar, mother of Lata Mangeshkar) would send him these preparations. He also relished thalipeeth, stale pakoras, Nashik chivda (aforementioned are savories) and anaarse (a Maharashtrian sweet).

On festive occasions, he would have sweets brought from outside. He ate bhagar (a  maharashtrian rice dish prepared during days of fasts) and groundnut curry  by Mai during fasting days of Ashadhi and Kartiki ekadashi and Mahashivratri but would not observe any fasts himself.

After meals, he would have a siesta, then afternoon tea, then some reading sometimes writing. Tatyarao would come to the large room in the front portion of the house to meet relatives and close friends who visited him. He would indulge in light-hearted talk with children especially his grandchildren. In the evenings, he would meditate for some time to increase concentration.

Initially he would go out to the Dadar Chowpatty (seashore) in Mumbai for a walk. But it proved troublesome, as people would flock around him. He would walk for one to one and half miles on the terrace.

At night he would have dinner at 8.30-9.00 pm, which consisted of warm rice, ghee and vegetable curry.
Then he would read and write. Most of his writings were done at night. He would prefer a fountain pen rather than a ballpoint pen. His frugal habits were reflected in his handwriting, which used to be small, so that he could pack lot of content in one page.

Savarkar would sleep with the windows closed and without a fan. If ever he put on the fan, it would be pointed away from him (probably a result of a habit picked up in prison).
===

In his sacred altar  ( The devasthal which every observant maharashtrian will definitely have in some corner of his house ..be it a palace or a shanty ),  There was an open copper devhara (a small place to keep idols) shaped like a small old-style throne. It had idols of Balkrishna (boy Krishna) and four Annapurnas (manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi as provider of food) and a picture of Lakshmi.

Tatyarao would observe Mai doing puja but he himself never worshipped.Tatyarao loved perfume. Mai would put champa or prajakta flowers in a glass of water and keep this in his room in the morning. He would use 'heena' perfume. He was a non-smoker and teetotaler. He never imposed his wishes on Mai nor did he ask her to prepare specific food items.

Tatyarao’s living was like that of an ordinary middle class person. He would wear a closed neck full-sleeved shirt, dhoti and use pieces of old, soft dhotis as handkerchieves. He hardly ever went to the theatre or cinema.

It was after All India Radio started broadcasting his famous song ‘jayostute’ (ode to the Goddess of Liberty) that radio finally arrived in his house.

Ambedkar, Savarkar and Buddhism

In 1952, Ambedkar declared that as there was no untouchability in Buddhism he would convert to that religion.   Savarkar replied to Ambedkar's statement in his "Six Glorious Epochs in Indian History". Quoting descriptions of contemporary Chinese travelers, Savarkar said that those castes (like Chandals) that did not stop killing animals, no matter what punishments were meted to them by Buddhist rulers, fled their villages and had to announce their arrival with bells or drums.

On 01 August 1956, Savarkar wrote an article, "You will be worse off by embracing Buddhism."  He questioned whether the Mahars (the caste to which Ambedkar belonged) could honestly say that when they became Buddhists, their feelings towards Chamars, Maangs and Dhors whom they regarded as untouchables would change overnight?

He also questioned why Ambedkar who was showering abuses on Hindu Dharma and accusing it of superstition kept mum on the numerous superstitions in Islam and Christianity.   Savarkar had made a deep study of Buddhism.

He debunked Ambedkar's contention that Buddhism was free of superstition.  "You make fun of tree-worship by Hindus, then how come you worship the Bodhi tree";

you criticize the offerings made to Brahmins; but the burden imposed society by lakhs of alms-seeking Buddhist monks was at least a hundred times more;

you say that Buddhism does not believe in God, deities, soul and re-incarnation but from Manchuria to Indo-China millions of Buddhists have raised the Buddha to the status of God and they believe in Indra, Varun, Laksmi, Saraswati, Yakshas and Kinnars and narrate stories of the Buddha's numerous past lives" was his pointed counter to Ambedkar and his followers.

When Ambedkar finally embraced Buddhism, Savarkar termed it as a change of sect rather than a change of religion.   He said that so long as Ambedkar remained an Indian Buddhist, he continued to remain in the ambit of Hindutva as his fatherland and holy land continued to be Bharat.

Siddhi Bhairavesara Swamy

Siddhi Bhairavesara Swamy.

"The famous Lord Shiva temple is located at Ramapuram Village in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. Maharishi Jamadagni (one among seven great Saptarishis) who is best known for his forgiveness, cool and calm temperament, once lived at the famous Kanaka Surabheswara temple. Sri Parashurama Devaru, son of Jamadagni Maharishi killed Kartavirya Arjuna in compliance to the advice of his father. The local sadhus who are staying at that sacred place during that time left Kanaka Surabheswara temple thereafter and moved to nearby place called Avulakonda. They were very much attracted by the beauty and greenery of the surrounding hills. They established a Shiva Lingam to perform Tapasya [Meditation], daily pujas, rituals and to finally attain Moksha [liberation]. Since then the temple got its name as Siddhi Bhairavesara Swamy Temple. People from different religions come to this holy place to worship Lord Bhairavesara Swamy [Lord Shiva] and to pray for fulfillment of their wishes and desires. Pilgrims can take bath at the newly renovated Konera at the entrance of the steps. It is a perfect tourist spot as well with waterfalls and other small surrounding temples. Devotees usually collect water from the Jaladhara falling at the back of Shiva Lingam in the Garba Griha and pour it on Lord Mahadev with great devotion chanting the holy words "Om Namah Shivaya". Local people celebrate Tirunallu [celebrations] in Magha month and Karteekam. Maha Shivarathri festival particularly is celebrated with great ardor" (Kishan Hattangadi)

Sri Vanchinathan Iyer, remembering a great freedom fighter

He was Vanchinathan Iyer.  May his memory live long despite Dravid efforts to eradicate what so many Iyers sacrificed and built for the Nation.

Today (17/6/2017) is the remembrance day of Shri Vanchinatha Iyer,  who was an active participant in the Indian Independence Movement.

Vanchinathan was born in Shenkottai in 1886. His parents were Ragupathy Iyer and Rukmani Ammal. His wife's name was Ponnammal. His actual name was Shankaran.
Vanchi, when he was just 25, killed the district collector of Thirunelveli, Ashe, also known as Durai when Ashe's train stopped at Maniyaachi station. Ashe was with his wife Mary Lillian Patterson, who arrived from Ireland just a few days ago before the incident. Ashe and his wife were on their way to Kodaikkanal where his four children Molly, Arthur, Sheila and HErbert lived in a rented bungalow. When they were sitting in the first class carriage waiting for their train to arrive, a neatly dressed young man and a beside him a man with dhothi arrived at the carriage. After arriving, the former pulled his Belgium made Browling pistol and shot Ashe and the bullet hit his chest.

After killing him, Vanchi ran to the lavaratory in the station where he shot in his mouth. Later when examined, his gun was empty for he had a plan only to kill Ashe and himself and not to hurt anyone. A letter was revealed from his pocket and it said
"I dedicate my life as a small contribution to my motherland. I am alone responsible for this.

The mlechas of England having captured our country, tread over the sanathana dharma of the Hindus and destroy them. Every Indian is trying to drive out the English and get swarajyam and restore sanathana dharma. Our Raman, Sivaji, Krishnan, Guru Govindan, Arjuna ruled our land protecting all dharmas, but in this land they are making arrangements to crown George V, a mlecha, and one who eats the flesh of cows.

Three thousand Madrasees have taken a vow to kill George V as soon as he lands in our country. In order to make others know our intention, I who am the least in the company, have done this deed this day. This is what everyone in Hindustan should consider it as his duty.

I will kill Ashe, whose arrival here is to celebrate the crowning of King George in this glorious land which was once ruled by great samrats. This I do to make them understand the fate of those who cherish the thought of enslaving this sacred land.

I, as the least of them, wish to warn George by killing Ashe who is his sole representative and has destroyed the Swadeshi shipping company and several other freedom fighters by subjecting them to severe torture.

Vande Mataram. Vande Mataram. Vande Mataram"
— sd/-, R. Vanchi Aiyar, Shencottah

Our history books gave separate chapters for those who looted and plundered our country by glorifying them, yet they ignored such valiant heroes who fought for Bharath Mata and Sanathana Dharma. I request all my non- Tamil friends to share this in their timeline so that the fame off this man reaches everyhwere.
May Vanchinatha Iyer be remembered for his sacrifice in the upcoming generations.
Vande Mataram!!!
Jai Shri Ram!!!
