Raireshwar temple ..(it's around 85 kms from pune ,India )
This is the place where Shivaji maharaj ( at the age of 14- or 16 ) opened the skin on his hand with his sword .....and did an entire abhishek on the shivaling with his own blood and vowed to fight till death for the hindu rashtra.
Its a very simple , non-descript and unglamorous place..almost dilapidated ---
Not as grand as the Taj Mahal and for Indian politicians -- not as " important" compared to the Taj Mahal or Nehru or Gandhi's birth place.
(The Marathas were very poor financially but not in spirit <3 , Not as rich as the Mughals with wealth, They didnt have as much money as the mughals........But they knew how to fight ,,better than the Mughals )
