Pazhassi Raja, the only man who defeated Arthur Wellesley, the vanquisher of Napoleon in Waterloo

Kerala Simham (Lion) Veera Pazhassi Raja (a Brahmin)  was one of the earliest Indian freedom fighters. Pazhassi Raja was the only man who defeated Arthur Wellesley, the vanquisher of Napoleon in Waterloo! After being wounded in a war against the British by prototypical Indian betrayal , he breathed his last on Nov 30,1805

"He used Guerrilla war fare technicals from jungle and created massive loss to british army.

Britain gave alcohol and tobacco to the local chieftain of the tribe and he helped to raid Pazhassi rajas jungle location... Thus exposing him to open field and he valiantly fought to death" (Vinu Raj R)

What a tragedy that a people who under Marthanda Verma created History by being the sole Native Nation in History to have defeated an Industrialized European Naval Power (the Dutch - Battle of Colachel) should now be ruled by riff-raff
