It seems that many people in India do not know the difference between Yadavs and Yadavs. I am a Raghav, but I will do my best to explain this crap to you.
Nitish/Mulayam's people are "Yadavs" who are not Yaduvanshi. This doesn't make sense if you understand the phylogeny of the Vedic people. In other words, they are not of Vedic descent, they are not Kshatriyas, there is LITTLE to NO evidence to suggest that they are the people of Krishna. It is unlikely that they descend from Krishna, they are probably a dalit community who forced the name Yadav on themselves for respect.
The Yaduvanshis you may find in the Rajput, Jat, and maybe other Kshatriya clades are the original Yadavs. They are of Vedic descent, they belong to the clan of Krishna, they are his DESCENDENTS. These Yaduvanshis were the kings of India for many many years, they were the brave Kshatriyas who defended Bharata from Muslim oppressors and destroyed our enemies. This is proper lineage.
The Yaduvanshis are a narrower class of the Chandravansh. Similarly, Raghuvansh is a narrower class of Suryavanshis, the descendents of Raghu who was a descendent of Surya.
You insulting Yaduvanshis is insulting the grace warriors by whose grace India is Hindu today. Shame on you, you'd probably be speaking Arabic right now and reading Namaz if it weren't for them.
