What August pattern of Vata Prakop?
Mass hysteria!
For commoners, it is interplay of Vata and Tamas. For Babas and Matas, it is interplay of Rajas and Vata so the outcomes are different.

August or Shravan(श्रावण) is a month of Vata derangement. Vata or Vayu is related to Mind. Unstable Vata ===> Unstable mind.
As a result, mental instability is inevitable. On top of it, in agriculture belt, this is idle season. Nothing much to do on the field. Idle mind + Vayu derangement ==> Unstable mind.
This is ideal season for any political experiment.
Remember these three faces? They very well exploited श्रावण of 2012. :) Ask yourself : What happened to Jan lokpal? :D What happened to black money ? :D :D
And so all scriptures prescribes Fasting and Rest during this season.

Root cause?
Vata Prakop (Derangement of Vayu)
Juvenile homes should deliberately design food of young criminals so that their Vata prakop can be cured. Missing Samskar(s) is hard to fulfilled but at least we can reduce frequency of their crimes in future.
Parents should make sure that their kids are not eating Vata food.
