Mohini Halebeedu
Imagine what Bharatha Varsha must have been like before Ashoka. Overflowing with truth, virtue and beauty. Then came Ashoka.
And then, the resurgence of Truth, Virtue and Beauty was demolished by the Moslems, followed through by the Indian Republic.
Belur is a Shiva Temple that was ransacked by the Moslems. Halebeedu is a Vishnu temples that was saved from the Moslems as it was covered with sand as camouflage. Belur is the far more exquisite and lovelier temple. It was ruined before it could be completed and consecrated. A day trip from bangalor (starting pre dawn and finishing post twilight), There is Toll Highway in a reasonable state of repiar al the way to Hassan, the old Hoysala Capital and present District HQ, which is just some 50 KMs away from the destination.
Here is Mohini at Halebeedu. An avatara of Vishnu who in the form of a bewitchingly beautful damsel fooled the Asuras (all but Rahu and Kethu) into having none while she danced her way through distributing the Amrutha, the nectar of immortality, that had been churned from the Milky Way with the Mandara Mountain as a Churn and Vasuki the principal snake of Vishnu Loka as a rope, exclusively to the Devas, here depicted at the Bangkok airport; The by product, the extremely noxious Halala which threatened to destroy all creation was swallowed by Shiva to contain it and remained locked in his throat as his consort held him by the throat to prevent the poison from descending further.
This may be the earliest known description of a Mega Project in this planet. Rest assured that India's Government and Public Works Department are not descended from Manushyas, Devas or Asuras going by their activities and creations. Which means that they must be Rakshasas?
