ऋषि वशिष्ठ द्वारा अविष्कृत (Discovered) एवं आगे की परंपरा मे विकसित (Evolved) Pnumberal Eclipse ग्रहण वेध की विधि

एक बार स्विटजरलैंड की अक्षांश-देशांतर समय सारणी (Ephemeris ) को कंम्यूटरीकृत करने वाले Dieter Koch से वाद-विवाद (2013) हुआ, Dieter ने ठीक वही कहा जैसे  जैसे आजकल जयंत नार्लीकर इत्यादि कहते हैं कि ग्रहण की सूक्ष्म गणना की विधि प्राचीन काल में ज्ञात नहीं थी, जबकि यथार्थ यह है कि अत्यंत प्राचीन काल से ज्योतिष के क्षेत्र में भारतीय ऋषि अग्रणी रहे हैं किंतु विश्वास से बातें सिद्ध नहीं होती, वैज्ञानिक प्रमाण मांगते हैं, जो ह्में देने चाहिये

हमारे पक्ष में प्रमाण नहीं थे, किंतु किसी चमत्कार की तरह ठीक वाद-विवाद के दिन गुजरात के एक आश्रम से आये एक स्वामी जी जो दिल्ली विवि के पास स्थित कमला मार्केट में टहल रहे थे, अचानक  मिल गये औ उन्होने ने यह चार पॄष्ठ जिसमें वशिष्ठ ऋषि द्वारा अविष्कृत विधि का प्रमाण है, दे दिये, जिसे उसी संध्या  हम लोंगों ने Dieter Koch को दिखाकर बेकार की बहस को समाप्त कर दिया

कभी कभी अज्ञात शक्तियां इस तरह मदद कर देती हैं

लेकिन कितने लोगों से बहस करें एवं कर सकते है, युग सस्ते ( Superficial) लोगों से भरा हुआ है.

These four pages (image format) show continuity of algorihm right from Rishi Vasistha, Aryabhatta, Bhaskara-2nd  till Kamalakara who was in 16'th century, they all consistently acknowledged occuances of such low visibility eclipses (Pnumberal) , classified them in the 3 categories such as -

1. Anadeshya Angulpala Grahan.
2. Anadeshya Grastodita Angulalpa Grahan
3. Anadeshya Grastasta Angulalpa  Grahan.

They give us the algorithm for calculating timing of occurrence, We have a Varanasi based traditional body ( SangVeda Vidya Mandir)  who dictates all traditional accredited panchangas (Calendars)  on issue of eclipses.

While our debate was going on, a low intensity eclipse  occurred, this body  announced that upcoming (26'th April's 2013)  lunar eclipse is a valid eclipse for religious rites, so if that's dealt with professional standards these days by traditional astronomers, how RN Iyangaar and Dieter Koch or many others in row could presume for their convenience that during time of Mahabharata, a similar low  intensity eclipse didn't have occurred or known to those people as methods or continuing  ( that was a point in debate )  

Most people are not aware of our religious structure dealing with such issues, I am not saying that there are no gaps in their way of functioning but that what's important is existence of such a body and continuity of tradition with existence of methods or algorithms.
