Buffalo Milk
Buffalo is a swamp animal. It was domesticated after Alexander left India and many of his solders settled in Northwest of India. Buffalo loves cold wet climate of swamps. Fat content in Milk of animals is related to the temperatures at which the animals live. For instance Reindeer milk has more than 52% fat. Yak milk has 7.9 % fat. Thus buffalo because it lives in swamps and water and stays cooler, has milk has much more fat than cow milk. Saturated Fat in Buffalo milk is much higher than Cow milk that is rich in unsaturated fats. Saturated fats are the fuels for human body and can be digested by good physical work/ labor/exercise etc. Otherwise it leads to coronary heart problems.
Secondly Buffalo milk has no Carotenoids i.e. Lutein. Zeaxanthine & Beta Carotene. These are very important for good eye sight. For this reason Buffaloes have very poor eyesight and according to Kashyap Samhita while grazing Buffaloes can not exercise any discrimination and even eat small snakes present in grass. eat even This the reason for Buffalo milk being white & cow milk being pale in color. No where in the world Buffalo milk is recommended. All cows seen around the world have been taken from India only. Vedas also never talk of Buffalo milk.
Thirdly Buffalo being a black body and without any fur coat can not stand in Sun and therefore Buffalo milk has no Vitamin D, that is considered very essential hormone for good health.
