But Historians Mess Up The Discovery, Creating Mist Which Must Be Cleaned
======================================

You w'd have noted that DhanushDhari Misra Ji has been consistently stating that Dwaraka has been much before it got sumberged when Shri Krishna left for Goloka after the Mahabharata war, which is true.

#Reason for Confusions - Frontline's Propaganda & Other Things
=====================
All reports published by ASI (Archaeological Survey of India, AS Gaur etc) had shown Dwaraka was not older than 1,600 BC, AS Gaur presented many self contradictory papers sometime he stated that Indian marine activities are as old as 3,000 BC but in same papers he was also putting dates as young as 14'th century.

I don't know why such researchers make ambiguity in their researches, if it is done due to politics running against country's history which wants to place country in bad light.

Propaganda newspapers and weekly like "Front line" were never behind, they launched systematic campaigning against Dwaraka's antiquity.

Cyber sites like secrete history, mythical history etc have although been showing Dwaraka is as old as 12,000 years but the issue with such syber sites is they don't quote the source of information, their attempt remains under the garb is to not to give the credit to real researchers but to enjoy it alone by creating a sensation and such a tactics of theirs don't add value to Indian history.

#Real Researchers Remove All Confusions With Carbon Dating (31,000 Yrs Old Human Settlement)
================================================

Amid the bizarre situation, some Indian archaeologists have done marvelous job, in a paper written by a team consisting of Kathiroli,S Badrinarayanan, Sasisekaran, B and Rames S and others published papers with Carbon 14 dating and removed the mist, they got Carbon dating by two agencies NGRI of hyderabad which gave a date of 7190 BC and  BSIP in Hannover and one proved the wooden artifact is NGRI in Hyderabad returned a date of 7190 BC and the BSIP in Hannover, which gave a date of 7545-7490 BC

Their paper titled "Recent Marine Archaeological Finds in Khambhat, Gujarat" was firstly published by National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) and secondly by "Puratatva" in it's 2004 and 2005 editions ( copy available in BHU )

Excavation at Dwaraka had yielded remains of potteries and hearth, the pottery samples are tested by govt PRL lab of Ahmadabad by Thermo-Luminescence method which gives a date of 11000 ± 1950 BC and another sample of ill fired pottery tested by Oxford University using OSL method, gave an age of 14840 ± 2620 BC

The sun-dried pottery pieces specimens were dated by OSL facility in Oxford. The results obtained are  (1) 29270±2050 BC, (2) 23700±2790 BC and (3) 22590±2390 BP.

Conclusion And Our Role

The dating of excavated material samples shows human settlement started at Dwaraka around 30,000 BC which gradually evolved into a fortified town like other Harappan towns.

Pottery samples collected from Dwaraka are the oldest in the world.
